It's rare that a linemen can be termed as an 'athlete' with an as of yet undefined position but that's exactly the situation that Plano (Texas) West big man Ben Bass finds himself in. The 6-foot-4, 257-pound Bass is well regarded as both a defensive end as well as an offensive lineman.
The dilemma certainly hasn't stopped coaches from stopping by in North Dallas and one coaching staff recently took in one of Bass' practices and left impressed enough to extend an offer.
"I got an offer from Oklahoma about a week ago or so, they had been saying that they were going to offer me for about three weeks but needed to see me play in person," Bass explained.
With Oklahoma's new offer they can now begin to chase Texas A&M.
"A&M is definitely the school I've talked to the most and spent the most time at," he said.
