Lee impressed with TCU
When discussing who the top quarterback in the state of Texas may be for the 2007 class names like Ryan Mallet and John Chiles garner most of the hoopla. However, one signal caller who's generating a lot of buzz is Brenham's Jarrett Lee.
Lee enjoyed a stellar junior campaign, throwing for 3,500 yards and 40 scores while leading the Cubs to a 14-1 record and a state semifinal berth.
The 6-foot-3 210 pound gunslinger who also boasts 4.68 speed has landed on the radar of several top programs and has offers from TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Houston, SMU, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State.
"Right now everyone is pretty even," he said. " I'm still looking at everybody. Hopefully I can go somewhere and play early but I still have to do all the research on that. I really don't care about playing close as long as I'm comfortable wherever I end up."
