A Sooner Legacy Enjoys OU Visit
Allen, Texas was well represented yesterday at Oklahoma's second Jr. Day/ first spring practice with not only Christian Sam in Norman but also 6-foot-3 and 202-pound linebacker prospect and Sooner legacy, Tay Evans in attendance as well. Evans also brought along his dad, brother and 2015 tight end prospect, Bobby Evans and also 2014 wide receiver prospect, Nick Hinkley.
Evans had already met linebackers coach, Tim Kish in person before but this visit gave him the chance to see how his would be position coach doing his work on the field.
"It was fun," Evans said about seeing Kish coach. "I like coach Kish, he has a lot of energy and he's cool. He teaches you, he's not one of those guys that just sits there and yells at you all the time. He's a cool dude with a lot of energy and I like that."
Seeing how much the Sooners focus on practicing technique reminded him of how he and his current teammates practice themselves.
