Game at a Glance
The Missouri Tigers felt like they let one get away in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They made sure round two wasn't going to come down to the final seconds. The Tigers ran the Razorbacks and their former coach Mike Anderson out of Mizzou Arena 93-63 to put the finishing touches on an unbeaten season at home.
A 7-0 Razorback run put Arkansas on top 7-5 early, but Missouri scored 16 of the next 20 points and led by at least six the rest of the way. In fact, after that 7-0 spurt, the Tigers held a 43-15 edge over the final 15:33 of the first half.
"You definitely want to hit your stride at this point," Laurence Bowers said. "We're in practice, we're grinding, we're really getting after it. Everybody has just bought in and the results are showing."
There was no bigger turnaround than that from Bowers. The senior scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his final game at Mizzou Arena, including Missouri's first five of the game. When the two teams played in Fayetteville, Bowers went 1-for-10 from the field and scored just two points.
