New defensive line coach Chris Wilson will earn a base salary of $250,000 per year, plus additional benefits, according to information obtained by UGASports.com in an open records request Friday.

According to memorandum of understanding, Wilson will receive a base salary of $250,000 plus other benefits.

In the memo, Georgia states that it will offer Wilson a contract with a term of July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 and one to include terms, but not limited to provisions related to bonuses, termination, arbitration, etc.

Although the contract does not go into effect until July 1, Wilson will receive the same monthly base salary specified in the contract between now and July 1, including the following benefits on a prorated basis:

• Nike Elite (camps) - $800 until June 30, 2013.

• Dealer car.

• Car Insurance reimbursement of up to $650 until June 30, 2013.

With the exception of defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, all assistant coach contracts are 1-year deals and will be written up on July 1.
