One word to describe the running back situation last year was interesting. From a six-person logjam at the beginning of fall-camp to only having two healthy backs in the 2012 Discover Orange Bowl; to Shawne Alston battling back through an early season injury to not only earn carries but a starting spot; to true freshman Dustin Garrison's record setting explosion and subsequent injury, it was a year that didn't lack storylines at the position.
