Dunbar (Md.) defensive end Marvin Gross pulled in a rather curious offer last week, to say the least. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end/outside linebacker previously held conventional verbals from the likes of Wake Forest and West Virginia, as well as UTEP, which his school has a direction connection to the Poets' program.

But neither Gross nor his Dunbar coaches have many ties to the Pac 12.
