Voeller adds Oregon offer
One of the top offensive linemen in the country is a local product. Hailing from West Linn, Evan Voeller is familiar with what the State of Oregon has to offer. This weekend in Eugene at Oregon's Junior Day, the Rivals250 member drove north up I-5 after receiving an official offer from the Ducks.
Duck Sports Authority caught up with the 6-foot-4, 285-pound athlete to get his reaction.
"I was pretty excited at the news because Oregon has always been one of my top choices," said Voeller. "A couple weeks ago they called and told me that they were going to offer me. Then about four days ago Coach Greatwood called and said I had an offer but it would officially come from Coach Kelly."
The nation's No. 145-ranked recruit had a good time Saturday in Eugene aside from that.
"It was good; it was fun," said Voeller. "I wanted to talk with all the coaches, see the facilities again. Mostly it was about meeting all the coaches. I got to talk to all of them and had a good time."
