After scrimmage, QB battle continues
Auburn offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Gus Malzahn would like to name a starting quarterback soon.
He would like to make a decision between junior Barrett Trotter, sophomore Clint Moseley and freshman Kiehl Frazier, but so far this fall, it's been difficult.
Just the way Moseley, Trotter and Frazier want it to be.
"We are really making it hard on him," Moseley. "We all threw the ball really well today."
Moseley's remarks came after the Tigers scrimmaged inside Jordan-Hare Stadium Wednesday.
The 70-play scrimmage, the first of fall camp, was closed to the media. No stats were handed out. Coaches and players did not divulge any specific information in their post-scrimmage media interviews....
