When Gardner (Kan.) Edgerton quarterback recruit Bubba Starling signed his letter of intent with Nebraska on Feb. 2, the Huskers got a once in a generation two-sport standout.

Throughout his recruiting process, Starling admitted that the NU assistant coach he felt closest to personally was Shawn Watson, and Thursday morning the 6-foot-5, 200-pounder found out for the first time that Watson was instead the new quarterbacks coach for the Louisville Cardinals.
