Heading into the 2010 season, Carthage, Texas safety Edward Pope had a goal in mind; help his Bulldogs win a third consecutive state championship. The Bulldogs accomplished that feat last Friday night with a 47-22 victory over Coldspring, claiming the class 3A Division II trophy inside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
