Jarrett has Mississippi State on top
Conyers, Ga., defensive lineman Grady Jarrett felt good about his four scholarship offers this spring.
The 6-foot-2, 282-pounder felt even better recently when one of the major conferences came calling when Mississippi State offered him his first BCS scholarship.
"Recruiting is going pretty good," Jarrett said. "I've got five offers right now and I'm trying to get some more before the summer is out. I've got offers from Buffalo, Middle Tennessee State, Western Kentucky, Georgia State and probably my best one so far is Mississippi State."
The Bulldogs offer immediately put them at the head of the list for his services but will hold off on a commitment for now.
"Right now they are my number one," Jarrett said of MSU. "It's the SEC and I was real proud about that one. We'll see what comes out of that. They are definitely a school that I would go to."
Jarrett has never visited the Starkville based schools but plans to make the five hour trip before the summer concludes.
