While some might find it hard to believe, Tulsa is home to one of the nation's most prolific playmakers in college football, and he'll only be a junior in 2010.

Damaris Johnson burst on to the national landscape as a true freshman in 2008. After finishing second in the nation in total all-purpose yards, he received Freshman All-America accolades from the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), The Sporting News, Rivals.com and Phil Steele's magazine.

In his freshman season, Johnson had a team and Conference USA-leading 2,475 all-purpose yards for a 176.8 average per game. He caught a team-high 53 passes for 743 yards and a team-best 10 touchdowns, totaled 327 rushing yards for an 8.0 average per carry and one touchdown, and established a new single-season school kick-off return record with 1,382 yards for a 25.6 average and one TD.

How could he possibly top that performance as a sophomore in 2009? Well, he did.
