After a productive junior football season T.J. Thorpe was having an equally impressive year on the hardwood. That was temporarily halted by an injury not long ago.

On the football field this past year Thorpe recorded nearly 950 receiving yards with five touchdowns, while returning a five kickoffs for touchdowns -- a state record. On defense he recorded three interceptions. Durham Jordan lost in the first round of the state playoffs and finished the year with a .500 mark.
