Ok so this time last week I thought I was headed to San Antonio and the big time 5A State Championship match-ups. Well, as you would think I have learned over the years things can change on a moment's notice and this weekend that's exactly what happened.

Honestly I should have known better as superstitious as I am, I usually don't speak of something that I plan to do until it's actually happening because I'm afraid once I open my mouth the world will conspire to make me a liar.

this week after opening my mouth the world did just that and instead of ending up at the double header 5A Championships at the AlamoDome I was at Floyd Casey Stadium watching the re-match between Lake Travis and Longview.
