West stayed undefeated with a commanding win over the Popes. The Wolverines picked up 279 yards on the ground, 46 of which came on a Charlie Congdon touchdown run in the first quarter. Congdon had 195 rushing yards on just 20 carries, and possibly put himself as the frontrunner for conference player of the year. As has been the case all year with West, the defense played a great game.
